Coiled Pipe Production Line
The DFC Machinery Coiled Pipe Production Line is a turnkey production solution that brings every step — from extruding polyethylene raw material to winding the finished coil and taking it off the line — together on a single line. It is used for manufacturing electrical conduit pipes installed under plaster and irrigation pipes, and produces with a capacity ranging from 120 to 400 kg per hour, depending on requirements.
The pallet haul off machine of the line runs at speeds up to 2,500 m/hour. This speed is reached on thin-walled pipes whose weight per meter falls within the 48 – 160 g range (typically Ø16 – Ø32 mm conduit pipe); for larger diameters the line speed decreases in meters while the capacity is maintained in kilograms. The pipe diameter is determined by the die selection: the line is supplied with 12 different dies — Ø14, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, 110 and 125 mm.
Polyethylene raw material is used in production, either original material or recycled material. The 2 × 120 mm filter (screen) unit with hydraulic system retains foreign particles in the raw material before they reach the die, so plants running on recycled material do not have to stop the line frequently for die cleaning.
The entire line is controlled through a single PLC panel and all operations are carried out synchronously from this control system. Extruder speed, vacuum, haul-off speed, cutting and winding are set simultaneously from the same screen, which keeps the speed synchronisation along the line without operator intervention. Our machine can be supplied as a complete production line or sold as individual units.

Line Components
In its standard configuration, the Coiled Pipe Production Line consists of ten units:
- 01. Main Extruder — 22 – 90 kW · Ø70 – 120 mm screw · 120 – 400 kg/hour
The main unit that melts the polyethylene raw material and feeds it into the die. Screw diameter and motor power are selected according to the targeted kg/hour output. - 02. Auxiliary Extruder — 1.5 kW · Ø30 mm screw · 20 kg/hour
A small extruder that adds a second polyethylene flow to the main flow; used for a second material application on the line. - 03. Vacuum Cooling Tank — 2 × (1.5 – 5) kW · 3 – 6 meters · Ø14 – 125 mm
Calibrates the hot pipe leaving the die under vacuum and fixes it to size; the length is selected according to line speed and pipe diameter. - 04. Cooling Pool — 3 – 12 meters · Ø14 – 125 mm
Cools the calibrated pipe completely before winding. The pool length is selected according to the cooling time required at high line speeds. - 05. Pallet Haul Off Machine — 2 × 1.5 kW · 2,500 m/hour
Pulls the pipe at a constant speed. The twin-motor pallet system provides a mark-free grip on thin-walled PE pipe. - 06. Auto Winding Machine — 2 × 1.5 kW · fully automatic
Winds the pipe into a coil without stopping the line. This is the unit that distinguishes the line from cut-to-length lines. - 07. Automatic Cutter — 1.5 kW · circular saw
Cuts the pipe to the set length once the coil is completed; the cutting length is entered from the PLC panel. - 08. Tilting Table — 3 meters · pneumatic system
Pneumatically tilts the completed coil towards the stacking area, eliminating manual handling at the end of the line. - 09. Filter (Screen) Unit — 1.1 kW · 2 × 120 mm · hydraulic system

No. Our machine can be supplied as a complete production line or sold as individual units. If you only want to add a winding machine, a haul off machine or a cooling pool to your existing line, the units can be supplied separately.
How is the Coiled Pipe Production Line controlled? +
The entire line is controlled through a single PLC panel and all operations are carried out synchronously from this control system. Extruder speed, vacuum, haul-off speed, cutting and winding are set simultaneously from the same panel, so there is no need to adjust each station separately.
What is the warranty and technical service scope of the Coiled Pipe Production Line? +
The line is covered by a 2-year mechanical and 2-year electronic warranty. A 10-year spare parts supply guarantee is provided and, depending on stock availability, parts can be shipped on the same day.
